AMERICAN COMICS GROUP
The American Comics Group (ACG), founded in 1943, was a significant comic book publisher known for its diverse range of genres, including horror, science fiction, crime, romance, and humor. Their notable titles included "Adventures into the Unknown," one of the first ongoing horror series, along with "Forbidden Worlds" and "Unknown Worlds." ACG's approach to horror was relatively tame compared to its competitors, focusing more on eerie storytelling. Despite challenges in the 1950s and the company's closure in 1967, ACG's contributions, especially in the horror genre, are still appreciated by fans today.
