Then taking over the numbering of Masked Raider, with Billy the Kid : Western Outlaw #9 (November 1957) and running for another 147 issues until it's eventual demise in issue #153 March 1983. Regular contributors to the title included writer Joe Gill and artists Pat Boyette, John D'Agostino, José Delbo, Dick Giordano, Rocke Mastroserio, Bill Mono, Pete Morisi, Charles Nicholas, Warren Sattler and John Severin.
