Kona - Monarch of Monster Isle - Volume 1 - Slipcase Edition

Kona, Monarch of Monster Isle Volume 1 gathers the first four issues of Dell's prehistoric adventure series, from February-April to October-December 1962. Kona, a modern-day caveman from a lost-world island, meets his people in "Meeting Kona", faces "Stampede of Giants" and the mutants of "Cave of Mutations", then flees the cold in "Escape to the Ice Land". Each issue also follows Anak, a boy raised by a great ape in the jungle. The bonus Charlton Reptilicus #1 (August 1961) adapts the monster film, as a frozen scrap of flesh thaws and grows into a winged giant that rampages through Denmark. Digitally enhanced and faithfully reproduced.
Slipcase edition, 184 pages, housed in a full colour slipcase.
